CARMELIN is a sunny south-facing bungalow at the end of a quiet rural lane, with huge picture windows giving sweeping views of the sea and the Lizard fields.  We don't think that you will find a better sea-view for miles.  Cows and calves wander in the field, and swallows dart about in the summer evenings.

We offer you a private guest-suite with your own entrance into the Sun Room’s sitting and dining area, leading to the double bedroom, The Blue Room, with private bathroom and separate loo. You will have as much privacy as you wish, but John and Jane are always on hand for a friendly chat or advice on local things to do and places to go.

The Sun Room, with its dining area overlooking the sea, makes the perfect place for enjoying our home-cooked evening meals (including vegetarian).  If you fancy dinner for two, candle-lit or watching the sunset, with a bottle of wine, click here on "Carmelin Cuisine" for details.

Breakfast at Carmelin is a lavish offering, which has received nothing but rave reviews and satisfied sighs.  Jane and John are both (mostly) vegetarian and simply cannot handle the idea of cooking sausages, bacon and other fatty things, so we offer the following:

Toast as you like it … French baguettes if you prefer … croissants or pains-chocolats … four different cereals to chose from … fresh fruit and a summer fruit or other compôte … home-made yoghurt … home-made preserves and marmalade … fruit juice … tea or coffee.  This is no mere "continental" breakfast, but a Carmelin breakfast-time feast which will set you up for the day.
